Embrace the therapeutic power of art.

This workshop offers a unique blend of therapeutic drawing techniques, mindfulness activities, and inspiring stories to help participants channel their restlessness into artistic expression. Through live demonstrations, downloadable worksheets, and engaging exercises, discover how to harness the power of art for creative calm.

Participants will explore various therapeutic drawing techniques designed to soothe the mind and promote relaxation. Mindfulness activities integrated into the workshop will teach attendees how to focus their thoughts and be present in the moment, enhancing their creative process. Stories of famous creative insomniacs will provide inspiration and demonstrate how sleeplessness can be a catalyst for artistic brilliance.

The workshop also offers practical tips on using art as a tool for achieving a state of creative calm, turning the challenges of insomnia into opportunities for self-expression. Live demos will guide you step-by-step through different art exercises, ensuring they gain confidence in their abilities. Downloadable worksheets will be available, allowing for continued practice and exploration beyond the workshop.

Materials:

  • A journal or notebook
  • Drawing and sketching materials of any kind, including dry and wet materials and materials for adding color
  • Paper or a sketchbook
  • Comfortable clothing you can move freely in

FAQ’s

How do I attend this workshop?

Choose a pay-what-you-can option to receive your Zoom link for the live event.

Please check your time zone to make sure you know what time the event happens. All events are held in the Pacific Time Zone (listed as either PDT or PST depending on the time of year).

You will receive an email confirmation with a ZOOM link & a meeting id and passcode. If for some reason you haven’t received the email right away, check your spam folder or contact me.

You can sign in using either the link or the meeting id and passcode.

How do I join on the day of the event?

Look for a confirmation email with the ZOOM LINK.

Give yourself plenty of time to sign into Zoom.

You can sign in early, but the event will not start until the designated time. All events take place in PACIFIC TIME.

Recording link will be sent within 24 hours of the live event.

What if I have trouble joining the event?

While most people are able to join following the steps above, on occasion it is difficult for some. I will do my best to help you, but know that it may be tough for me to respond just before or at the start time.

What is your refund policy?

All refund requests can only be processed before the live event start time.

When will I receive my recording?

A link to the recording will be sent out after the event finishes, within 2 to 24 hours after the end time of the live event. Please add me, [email protected] to your email contacts list to ensure you receive the recording as expected so that it doesn’t go to your spam or junk mail.
