Creating
Create without judgment in a supportive environment.
Working from our imaginations and through simple guided explorations, we will examine how Picasso’s drawing and cut-out techniques can be used as a tool for self-discovery, mindfulness and artistic expression. Using mindful curiosity and creativity, we will seek to uncover new and abstract ways of thinking and working creatively as well as exploring how to use art for healing.
No drawing experience is necessary! The focus will be on guided exercises and contemplative practices in the manner of Picasso but all forms of creativity are welcomed.
Supplies
At least 5 pieces of white or colored cardstock (thick enough to stand up when folded)
Sketchbook or sketch paper-(we will be creating a visual journal)

Pencil

Ruler
X-acto blade or utility knife
Any other materials of your choice.

I will guide you through a short mindfulness practice before we settle into a fun, creative session. We will focus on breathing and present moment awareness to create more ease and calm in the mind and body. No meditation or mindfulness experience is necessary.
These mindfulness practices are simple and accessible for everyone.
This online workshop is suitable for ALL LEVELS – However, please get in touch with me if you have any questions about what to expect.
